The Vision x Shopify Integration is Coming

You can upload your photos to Vision manually. With integration for Shopify you will be able to:

• import product images to Vision with one click
• export generated AI images to Shopify

How can you prepare today

• Setup Metafields: Create a product metafield for AI-generated images, e.g. ai_visualisation, so Vision can populate it automatically on sync.
• Configure Product Media Permissions: Ensure your Shopify store allows third-party apps to manage product media via the Admin API.
• Generate API Credentials: In your Shopify Partner or store settings, create a custom app and generate Admin API credentials with read_products and write_product_listings scopes.
• Audit App Scopes: Review which OAuth scopes your store requires and confirm Vision’s integration will have sufficient access before launch.
• Enable Custom Storefronts: If you use Shopify Headless or a custom storefront, confirm your media delivery pipeline is compatible with programmatically added images.
