Content Policy
Vision by Lucid Modules Version 1.1 — Last revised: March 2026
Note: This is a Content Policy (also known as an Acceptable Use Policy). It governs what content may be created and shared on our platform. For information on how we collect, store, and process personal data, please refer to our separate [Privacy Policy].
1. Introduction
Vision by Lucid Modules (“Vision,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides an AI-powered photography platform that enables users to generate product images, remove and replace backgrounds, edit photographs, create AI-generated model visuals, and dress virtual models with garments.
This Content Policy governs all content created, uploaded, processed, or distributed through Vision. It applies to all users — individuals, businesses, and agencies — regardless of account type or subscription plan. By using Vision, you agree to comply with this policy in full.
We are committed to maintaining a platform that is safe, legal, and professional. This policy exists to protect our users, third parties, and the integrity of the platform.
2. Permitted Uses
Vision is designed for legitimate ecommerce and commercial photography purposes. You may use Vision to:
- Generate AI product photography for use in online stores, marketplaces, catalogues, and marketing materials
- Remove, replace, or enhance photo backgrounds for product presentation
- Edit and retouch existing product images using AI tools
- Generate AI virtual human models for the purpose of showcasing fashion, apparel, or wearable goods
- Dress AI virtual models with garments to visualise how products appear when worn
- Create visual content for advertising, social media, and brand communications related to ecommerce
All permitted uses must be for lawful commercial or creative purposes and must comply with the restrictions set out below.
3. Prohibited Content
The following content is strictly prohibited on Vision. You may not use our platform to generate, upload, process, store, or distribute:
3.1 Sexually Explicit or Adult Content
- Nudity, sexually explicit imagery, or content that is pornographic or obscene in nature
- Suggestive or sexualised depictions of any person, real or AI-generated
- Content that sexualises or demeans individuals in any way
3.2 Content Involving Minors
- Any sexually suggestive, explicit, or harmful content depicting individuals under the age of 18
- Content that could be used to groom, exploit, or endanger children
3.3 Deceptive or Misleading Content
- Imagery designed to deceive consumers about the nature, quality, or origin of products
- False advertising or content that misrepresents products in a materially fraudulent way
- Counterfeit product imagery or content designed to impersonate legitimate brands
3.4 Intellectual Property Violations
- Content that replicates or closely imitates another party’s protected trademarks, logos, or brand identities without authorisation
- Imagery that infringes on third-party copyrights or design rights
- Uploading images that contain identifiable third-party products, copyrighted artwork, or visible watermarks to which you do not hold the rights or appropriate licence
3.5 Harmful or Dangerous Content
- Content promoting violence, self-harm, or illegal activity
- Imagery intended to harass, threaten, or intimidate any individual or group
- Content that incites hatred based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
3.6 Non-Commercial Misuse
- Using Vision to generate content unrelated to ecommerce, fashion, or commercial product photography
- Generating imagery for purposes outside the scope of legitimate business use
4. AI-Generated Human Models
Vision allows users to generate AI virtual human models for the purpose of showcasing fashion and wearable products. The following rules apply to all AI-generated human model content:
4.1 Permitted Use
AI-generated human models may only be used for fashion, apparel, and ecommerce product visualisation. This includes showcasing clothing, accessories, footwear, and similar wearable goods.
4.2 No Sexualised Depictions
AI-generated human models must be depicted in a professional, non-sexualised manner at all times. Generating suggestive, explicit, or sexualised imagery of AI models is strictly prohibited, regardless of context.
4.3 No Real Person Likeness
You may not use Vision to generate imagery that intentionally replicates or closely resembles the likeness of any identifiable real person without their explicit, verifiable consent. This includes public figures, celebrities, and private individuals. Vision reserves the right to request proof of such consent at any time.
4.4 Scope Limitation
AI model generation features may not be repurposed for non-ecommerce uses, including but not limited to: political content, news media, social commentary, entertainment, or any use outside of commercial product presentation.
5. User Responsibilities and Indemnification
You are solely responsible for all content you create, upload, or generate through Vision. By using our platform, you represent and warrant that:
- You own or have the necessary rights to all images and assets you upload
- All content you produce complies with this Content Policy and applicable law
- You will not share, distribute, or publish content that violates this policy
- You will not attempt to bypass, circumvent, or exploit our platform’s safety features or restrictions
- You understand that Vision is not liable for any misuse of outputs generated through your account
Indemnification: You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Vision, Lucid Modules, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of the platform; (b) content you upload, generate, or distribute; (c) your breach of this Content Policy or any applicable law; or (d) any claim that your content infringes the rights of a third party.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Your Inputs
You retain ownership of any images, assets, or content you upload to Vision. By uploading content, you grant Vision a limited, non-exclusive licence to process that content solely for the purpose of delivering the service to you.
AI Training: We do not use your proprietary uploaded content or generated outputs to train, fine-tune, or improve our foundational AI models without your explicit consent. Any use of content for model improvement purposes will be clearly disclosed and subject to your opt-in.
6.2 Generated Outputs
Vision assigns to you any rights, title, and interest it holds in the images generated through your use of the platform (“Generated Outputs”), subject to your compliance with this Content Policy and our Terms of Service. However, due to the rapidly evolving nature of AI copyright law, Vision makes no representations or warranties regarding the copyrightability of Generated Outputs in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for understanding the intellectual property laws applicable to AI-generated content in your region.
6.3 Platform Rights
Vision and its underlying technology, models, and interfaces remain the intellectual property of Lucid Modules. You may not reverse engineer, scrape, or reproduce any part of the platform.
7. Automated Moderation
Vision employs automated moderation tools — including AI-based content filters — to detect and prevent the generation or upload of prohibited content. You acknowledge that:
- Your prompts, inputs, and generated content may be scanned by automated systems for policy compliance
- These systems may occasionally block legitimate content (false positives). If you believe your content was blocked in error, you may appeal by contacting us at [[email protected]]
- Persistent or deliberate attempts to bypass, confuse, or circumvent our moderation systems constitute a serious violation of this policy and will result in immediate account action
8. Enforcement
Vision reserves the right to take action against any account or content that violates this policy. Enforcement actions include:
Content Removal: We may remove any content that violates this policy without prior notice, at our sole discretion.
Permanent Account Ban: Serious or repeated violations — including but not limited to generating explicit content, creating real-person likenesses without consent, or using Vision for illegal purposes — will result in permanent termination of your account and loss of access to the platform.
We reserve the right to determine what constitutes a violation and to act accordingly. We are not obligated to provide warnings before taking enforcement action in cases of serious violations.
Appeals: If you believe your account was suspended or your content was removed in error — including due to an automated false positive — you may appeal by contacting [[email protected]] with a description of the situation. We will review appeals in good faith, though we are not obligated to reinstate access.
9. Reporting Violations
If you encounter content or behaviour on Vision that you believe violates this policy, please report it to us at:
Include as much detail as possible, such as the nature of the violation and any relevant account or content identifiers. We review all reports and will take appropriate action.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Content Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our platform, legal requirements, or industry standards. We will notify users of material changes via email or an in-platform notice. The “Last revised” date at the top of this document will always reflect when changes were last made. Continued use of Vision following any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
